Archaeology: Kenneth Lay, former Enron Chief Found Alive

Previously thought to be dead at the age of 64 from a massive coronary attack, Kenneth Lay was found today alive and well and living with members of his family in suburban Houston. Former head of Enron, once the worlds seventh largest corporation, Kenneth Lay was convicted of fraud and conspiricy earlier this year and was waiting for sentencing when his family reported him dead. Subsequent to his alleged death the court evacuated its decision against Lay. This according to Lays lawyers was the catalyst for his re-appearance. “Ken was really just waiting for the right time to announce his return to life,” Said Ron Worchester, a spokesman for the Lay family. Jeffrey Skilling, another former Enron CEO just sentenced to prison for twenty-four years, is reported to be experimenting with heart attacks, poisons, and medical procedures that will allow him to disappear for a time, as if dead and then to resurface once the case would be vacated– indeed the very path followed by Lay himself. “Ken was always a pioneer,” said Skilling in an interview. “I have never been ashamed to follow in his footsteps.”
