Ecology: Sustainable On Demand Printing of Cloned Animals Meat Spurs CloneWeb 3.0

The recent passage of FDA cloned food legislation has opened up the doors for a new round of university science and tech funding for startup companies searching for the holy grail of science… and an endless supply of food from small machines. “Like the magic pouch from jack and the beanstalk, adults have searched for ways to make these fairy tales come true.. and now science has opened these doors for us,” Heimat Guntherschlosse, of Export Science Co ltd, Inc. said at a press conference for the release of a new sustainable, print-on-demand machine for the printing of cloned food. The machines were recently developed and on display by Cloned Food On Demand, Inc., a company specializing in specialty food on demand printing technology. “One machine, which may cost around $50,000, can download a library of over two million different foods from food content providers and partnerships. We forsee a time when every small village in Africa can have a central dispensing unit, which, using the latest in satellite broadband technology, will be able to print anything from a roast beef sandwich to a scallion taco in under seven minutes,” Heimat stated. However, there has been widespread protest at the widespread adoption of such machines. “There are problems with printing on demand, especially with copyright issues on certain foodtypes,” Janice Wilmech, of People United Will Never Be Defeated, a 501-3(c) corporation. “Who owns the roast beef sandwich? Certain cloned foods and cloned types of food need to be able to pay a royalty to the creator if our business models are going to work.” But such claims have been dismissed by most of those involved in developing the cloned printing technology. “This marriage of printing technology and biotechnology, with the advances made in genetic cloning, is the future,” said Wilbur Lankly of Pork Producers Genentech Inc., a developer of cloned food libraries. “People can try and stop it, but its a losing battle. We will be able to clone an army of pro-clone voters long before any anti-clone voters can come to a consensus on how to try and stop it.”
