Ecology: Dangerous Dodder Plant on the Move
The deadly Dodder plant has been on the move lately, with sporadic outbreaks occurring amongst larger tomato based towns in the US. The Dodder plant, which can smell fear, moves by inserting a tiny sharp barb into a variety of hosts and living off the hosts juices. Police continue to be on high alert as terror spread. “We arent sure how many pots there are in our town for all the people,” Seargent Vilmas of the North Locano Police Force spoke on condition of watering. “and we arent sure when all this Dodder repotting will cease…” Hopes are high that Aunt Sophie, recently eaten by one of the potted varieties, may provide a cleu as to how the infestation may be attacked at the roots.
