Finance: Sportingbet Shares Suspended in US Vice Regulation Attempt

Shares of SportingBet an online gaming company based in the UK were suspended today as Peter Dicks, cheif exec of SportingBet, in the US on a business trip was arrested. This follows the arrest of David Cuarruthers, cheif exec of BetOnSports, a rival of SportingBet on racketeering charges when he visited the US a couple months ago. A couple points: get the words Bet and Sports out of your companies moniker. Not for any real reason. And further: pay some more money to top saved again christian conservatives in the US. They have the rhetorical tools to twist their messages to their constituents any way they want. WItness Abromoff et al., a highly successful conservative republican based lobbying effort for gambling. Your problem is you havent gotten in line on the whole k street lobbying thing. Pay some money, cheapskates, its worth it. If you dont, they’ll still get it: by taking your Stock shares away. And yet further: if you have to come to the US, send someone else! We used to call the “stoolies”, or “fall guys”, and its a very successful and time honored tradition in America to set someone up who agrees to get paid for doing some time. And further but not finally: Thats a pretty great picture of George Bush pulling on the one armed bandit on google images.
