Games: In Game Advertising now has Push Technology

If you cant get enough of movie actors drinking coke(tm), smoking marlboro(tm) cigarettes, lounging on their new Barcalounger(tm), and talking on their Razor(tm) cellphone while driving their new Prius(tm) to the mall while Secret Angents track them with long range thermal scanners, theres a new and upcoming way to get your fix. A company has developed a kind of push technology that will allow in game advertising to be pushed out to games, including old already published games. An added bonus of the network requirement all computing devices will soon have. We see this as a danger. In ecology, a monoculture is one of the most easily decimated of cultures. In advertising, a monoculture is known as market share, aka, eyeballs. What will happen if we move all our games to eyeballs, and then our network goes out? what will we see? is there only blackness underlying the bright matter of the universe? Please denounce this technological move in media, and help save us from the many-tentacled unnamable appendages of Yog-SiThoth.
