Machine Intelligence: Botanicalls Plants That Talk and Telephone on Good Morning America

Plants that Talk and Telephone, Botanicalls, opens up new channels of Plant to Human communication. A news segment on Good Morning America has a group of technology researchers showing their hilarious technology that allows plants to make phone calls. We, for one, welcome our new Plant Overlords! Using embedded mesh networks and assorted other highly technical terms, the time of plants having a human voice has arrived. The treehuggers have been talking for years about cosmic vibrations and the voice of the plants, or the recorded, screaming pain-feeling of plants… but now, perhaps, we can finally hear the tiny wails of an aphid-infested spinosia vinyata. Now we only await the invention of a plant to human to dog and cat translator so that they too can benefit from our new, plant overlords. The talking plants website is at botanicalls.com. the researchers and designers are Kate Hartman, Kati London, Rebecca Bray, and Rob Faludi. Good Morning America footage of the talking plants is at new ABC.Com. Could this possibly be the beginning of a new kind of resistance?
